Meetup: Social Events & Groups App Reviews

They tried to make it all flashy, and now it takes forever to get to what I want to see. Useful features that are now gone: - search events at a different location (supposedly fixed now) - see ALL upcoming events (not per category) in an area organized by date and time. (Now its all mixed up each event is a huge square) - list view (see above) - ability to zoom in (click to fullscreen) on a profile pic - probably many more that i have yet to be annoyed by I know youre not gonna revert to the previous UI now, but please at least give us these options.

After an update which changed the UI, its been impossible to use, constant freezes, long loading times and pure bad design decisions. I hope they reverse the update and go back to the old UI.

Good app and helps to make news friends

As someone who moves from country to country this app really helps kick start your networking.

When travelling to a new place it is good app to find some events you might be interested and to meet new people who have the same interests. But uploading photos is a pain... It should allow uploading multiple photos at the same time Not one by one....

The new design looks great and works much smoother than the previous one.

When you are observing a loong list and when app always takes you to beginning and when you see only thing you do is scrolling down the same entries... Disgusting. Also there should be filter option for calendar results, basicly "area of interest" and "time". Please improve.

Its really good application also usefully. I met people via Meetup. I have accumulated a lot of experience. Thank you Meetup!

Where do we find all meetups in a day?

"Authenticated user required" warning appears although ive logged in. i cannot use tabs other than profile

Log in through Facebook account doesnt work.

Thanks to meetups Ive managed to meet many great people.

I’ve been to Barcelona when I installed the app. First of all, I started to receive emails with upcoming events though I don’t remember explicitly subscribing to that. Secondly, I moved away from Barcelona, but app did not re-detect my location. And still keep receiving Barcelona events emails which is totally irrelevant for me.
