Meetup: Social Events & Groups App Reviews

The old version of the app was better. You could see what was going on not only with your groups but other groups around your city. I even used it while travelling for work to find things to do at night rather than sit in a hotel room.

1. Lost the ability to view past meet up events. This is crucial to view/add photos 2. Layout and options on the previous version was far more superior 3 . Slow 4. Cannot see members profile. Important to spot new members in events/take attendance. 5. Looks messy and not as organize as the previous version which was far superior.

I love the new design of this app! Its beautiful and very easy to use.

It worked up until the "New Update"! Now you cant find the notification to get rid of the number on the App! Please change it back!

Old app much superior although somewhat antiquated. I want to see the notifications and the calendar front and centre

Love it! Doesnt take too much room on my limited phone. Simple. Easy peasy.

The latest update makes this app a nightmare to navigate.

Sluggishly slow since the redesign, crashes are still aplenty, no longer automatically adds RSVPd events to your phone calendar, cannot view original profile pics, everything harder to find, plenty of clutter, I could go on and on... Piece of junk! What a stupid design choice! First app Ive ever encountered thats so abundantly worse than its predecessor. Dont "fix" whats not broken and make it worse.

Some times I get duplicate reminders and events as well. Overall it is very handy.

No bad an app helping users to find interested group, but need some hardworking on UE.

A few glitches but I love the layout and how easy the app is to use

I miss being able to update my calendar when I RSVP for events. I dont like getting all the email reminders so dont want to turn them on just to get the ics download. Pretty sure a lot of people out there are missing events because they dont have a meeting automatically placed in their calendars. Otherwise I love this app and the opportunities to meet new people and try new things. Love MeetUp!

Works fine but I dont like the new icon

The app is somewhat difficult to use effectively. Add to this it keeps showing I have notifications when I dont. One final grievance and this isnt only about the app...it is a Meetup functionality issue...I want to delete a message from a user that I spoke to one time six months ago...cant delete..only archive...

Im happy! It does what I need it to do.

Prior version allowed you to click directly from the email sent from the organizer directly to the Meetup in the app. Current version doesnt recognize that Im a member of a group and wont display any details if the organizers restrict info to members of the group. It also suggests that I download the app.

This is absolutely ridiculous! Youre a big enough company and you came out with a recent update, but cant you fix the delayed notifications?! I run a meetup and have to constantly go into the app to make sure i didnt miss someone signing up for the meetup or messaging me. Messages are received a day or more late, and other notifications almost never. Please fix this!!

The current update is like a lifesaver from the previous confusing version, Im glad that the developers decided to listen to the user feedback.

This update is better, BUT I think is BS that you dont allow us to see everyone who is going to a certain event by only displaying a flew people.
